Combined Services on Labor Day Weekend
Heartland, Shalom and First Christian Reformed Churches will have a combined service at Sioux Falls Christian Middles School at 9:30 am on Sunday, September 5.
The Lifelight service will be at 11:00 am.

On September 12 Pastor Jim will begin the message series, Called Out, which will incorporate pictures and ideas from his sabbatical travels in Egypt, Jordan and Israel.
Footsteps
Pastor Jim and Lois will be on a Sabbatical from May 12 to August 25. Finances are provided by the Lilly Endowment Fund for both Pastor Jim & Lois’ trips and for the church. Garry Nyenhuis will be filling in for this summer. Footsteps is the blog of Pastor Jim and Lois’ travels while on sabbatical this summer.

New Roots
Rev. Carl Bruxvoort is the director of New Roots, the new Immigrant / Refugee Ministry for Sioux Falls. The purpose of the ministry is as follows: a) Minister to and with immigrant/refugee peoples in order to help them with their physical, spiritual and emotional needs. b) Serve as a link or bridge between the Anglo evangelical church in the Sioux Falls area and the immigrant/refugee pastors and churches.
